2nd Bakersfield pot shop murder suspect arrested in Vegas
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) - The second suspect in a robbery and deadly shooting at a Bakersfield medical marijuana collective has been arrested.
Miracle Jackson, 16, was captured Thursday in Las Vegas, according to Bakersfield police. She'll be transported back to Bakersfield for prosecution on two counts of murder, armed robbery and participation in a criminal street gang.
Aaron Patrick Burris, 32, was arrested July 26 in Oildale. A police report on Burris, who has been charged with first-degree murder, says he took the action "for the benefit, in furtherance of, and in association of the East Side Crips" street gang.
Burris and Jackson are suspected of shooting two men July 17 inside the First Reliable medical marijuana collective on Chester Avenue. The murdered men were identified as 23-year-old Devin Daniels, of Bakersfield, and 55-year-old Tony Conrad Sherman, of Los Angeles.
