Benjamin Bratt chips in for Huerta Foundation golf fundraiser

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) The Dolores Huerta Foundation held its ninth annual Celebrity Golf Classic on Friday at The Links at Riverlakes Ranch.

Actor Benjamin Bratt headlined a roster of celebrities: Kenneth Landreaux (member of the 1981 World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers), Dennis Leoni (creator and executive producer of the Showtime series "Resurrection Boulevard"), Robert "Bobby" Ernie Castillo (former pitcher for Dodgers and Minnesota Twins), Efren Herrera (Dallas Cowboys' kicker in the team's Super Bowl XII victory), and Laffit Pincay Jr. (horse racing's winningest jockey at the time of his 2003 retirement).

The Dolores Huerta Foundation currently works for education improvements, immigration reform, health care coverage for all, and positive recreational outlets for young people, according to the organization.
