Domestic violence investigation leads to arrest of man with 7 outstanding warrants

{A href=""}BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) Kern County deputies arrested a man Wednesday who was wanted on three outstanding felony warrants and four outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

Daniel Guzman-Bartel, 25, was sought Wednesday during a domestic violence investigation out of Oildale, the sheriff's office said. Deputies from the gang unit found Bartel driving a stolen vehicle in the 600 block of Sharon Place, and a short vehicle pursuit followed.

The chase ended with Bartel crashing into a fence and being taken down by a sheriff's dog.

Bartel was booked into jail as he awaits charges of domestic violence, criminal threats, possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to yield causing property damage, hit-and-run, possession of burglary tools and resisting arrest, according to the sheriff's office.
