Man shot in each foot; sheriff's office hasn't said why

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) A man was shot in each of his feet late Tuesday in east Bakersfield.

The 30-year-old man was taken to a hospital after deputies were called around 11 p.m. to the scene of the shooting, the 3500 block of Pioneer Drive.

The sheriff's office hasn't named a suspect or publicly commented on why the man was shot. Anyone with information helpful to the investigation is asked to call the sheriff's office at (661) 861-3110.
