BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) Frank West School was briefly placed on lockdown Thursday as police searched the neighborhood for a stabbing suspect.

Officers got information that 29-year-old Linda Elliot, wanted for a stabbing that took place around 3:30 a.m. on Niles Street, was at a home on the 2100 block of Custer Avenue, just southeast of the Valley Plaza Mall.
