BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
Kern Dance Alliance has partnered with the Alzheimer's Disease Association of Kern County to get memory-impaired patients moving to music.
It's part of a 7-week program that uses dance and movement therapy as a way of creative expression and empowerment to improve cognitive function and quality of life for Alzheimer's patients, according to Kern Dance Alliance President Andrea Hansen.
