CHP officers to serve up lunch for good cause
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
California Highway Patrol officers are going to be trading in their uniforms for aprons and serving up lunch for the annual Tips for CHiPS Luncheon.
For $25, you will get served a lunch with dessert at the Outback Steakhouse. All the proceeds benefit the CHP Widows and Orphans Trust Fund in memory of Officer Mark Ehly.
Tips for CHiPS is happening Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
