Warm up and cool down
Every successful adventure has a good start and ending. That’s why our exercise routine should start with a warm-up and end with a cool-down.
A good warm-up should include activity that gradually increases your heart rate and movement that increases range of motion. This will accelerate blood and oxygen flow preparing the body for more energetic demands. After your workout, it’s just as important to finish with a cool-down. You want to slowly decrease aerobic demands, this returns your heart rate and breathing back to normal. Stretching should be included to prevent muscle soreness.
Warming up and cooling down is one of the best ways to prevent injuries. So keep your workouts successful, always warm-up and cool-down.
