7 Emmy noms for Eyewitness News; most in Bakersfield

Eyewitness News was honored Tuesday night with seven regional Emmy nominations, the most in the Bakersfield TV market.

"I am so proud of the Eyewitness News team! It's especially an honor to be nominated in the Best Newscast and Best Weekend Newscast categories. It's a dream to work with such a talented team," said KBAK/KBFX News Director Cristi Jessee.

The 39th annual Emmy Awards, celebrating excellence in the Pacific Southwest Region, will be June 15 in Las Vegas.
