Investigation: Homeless people, businesses and other customers have difficult relationship
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
Evidence of Bakersfield's growing homeless population continues to spill onto the streets across our region.
Many times, for those living on the streets, going indoors is more troubling than staying out.
However, homeless people say bad experiences from store owners or other customers don’t change the way they view the businesses. Still, they do hope this changes the way the public views them.
Eyewitness News reporter Hanna Battah takes a look at the issue of homelessness in Bakersfield and how this community issue affects businesses.
