Some feel certain ads for candidates are increasingly negative, while others say a recent ad simply crosses the line of decency.

Personal attacks have intensified in the Senate race between Republican Andy Vidak of Hanford and Democrat Leticia Perez of Bakersfield. A general runoff election has been scheduled for July 23.
