Bakersfield police: Man shoots father, attacks mother during dispute
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
A man was arrested Monday on suspicion of shooting his father and attacking his mother.
The father, 67, was shot in his abdomen and leg. The mother, 65, suffered a laceration to her head.
Police said the couple were wounded in an argument with their 32-year-old son, Edward Pull, at a home on Phyllis Street.
Pull is also suspected of holding his parents against their will before he called police.
The father is in critical condition at a hospital.
Police didn't specify what they believe sparked the argument.
