Centennial Corridor community meetings begin Tuesday
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
Officials with the city and Caltrans begin a series of three community meetings Tuesday night about plans for the Centennial Corridor construction.
Each meeting will focus on different segments of the project and will include maps and exhibits, according to the Thomas Roads Improvement Program. Ward 2 Councilman Andrae Gonzales is set to attend all three meetings.
People can come at any time between 4 and 7 p.m. during each of the meetings, all being held at First Congregational Church on Real Road. The meetings will be an open house style, with presentations at 5 and 6 p.m. for each:
Tuesday, Jan. 31 -- focus on segment south of Stockdale Highway
Tuesday, Feb. 7 -- focus on segment from Stockdale Highway to Joseph Street
Wednesday, Feb. 8 -- focus on segment from La Mirada Drive to California Avenue
