Coroner: Man found dead in orange grove was shot

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) The Kern County coroner's office on Thursday released the name and cause of death for a man whose body was discovered this week in an orange grove near Breckenridge and Comanche.

Joaquin Molina, 23, died of a gunshot wound, and a homicide investigation is underway, the coroner's office said.

A farmworker found the body Monday.
