FFA funding has been restored to California's budget by Gov. Jerry Brown.

The Executive Director of the California Agriculture Teachers Association, Jim Aschwanden said, "The Governor has committed to continue funding through this year and the years to come."

The proposed $15 million cuts is money used by the California Department of Education, which would have eliminated funding to the Career Technical Student Organizations, such as FFA.

FFA currently encompasses 330 High Schools and 85,000 students in California.
