KCSO arrests 2 in connection with deadly south Bakersfield shooting
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
The Kern County Sheriff's Office has arrested two suspects in connection with a deadly shooting at an internet gaming business in south Bakersfield.
Deputies arrested 34-year-old Fernando Rojas and 21-year-old Victor Nunez last week as suspects in the killing of 26-year-old Brandon Ellington outside the business Feb. 3.
Deputies arrested Rojas on Feb. 9 after they found him on the 5600 block of South Union Avenue. They arrested Nunez later that day at his home on the 7000 block of Di Giorgio Road in Lamont.
Deputies found a gun on Nunez during his arrest.
The two have been booked, and no bail has been set.
