Investigators are on the scene of an attempted armed robbery at the Chase bank on Rosedale Highway.

Deputies say a Brinks trunk security guard was servicing a drive-thru ATM about 9 a.m. when three armed suspects emerged from a 2006 black Chevy Tahoe and demanded money. One suspect had a rifle, the two others had a handgun, and all wore masks.

KCSO says there was no money in the machine being serviced during the armed robbery.

The three suspects returned to their Tahoe and fled westbound on Rosedale Highway.

No one was injured, and no suspects are in custody.

Deputies are currently working to get more information on the faded black Chevy Tahoe.

If you have any information, call the Kern County Sheriff's Office at (800) 861-3110.
