KCSO says 21 arrested in probation and parole sweep in Lamont, Weedpatch and Arvin
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
The Kern County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that 21 arrests were made in a sweep targeting gang members and drug offenders in Lamont, Weedpatch and Arvin.
The multiagency operation featured probation and parole compliance checks and targeted more than 40 residences.
The Sheriff's Office said seven felony arrests were made, along with 14 misdemeanor arrests.
The Sheriff's Office didn't release a list of names of those who were arrested but said some were for drug offenses, some for parole violations, one for being a felon in possession of a firearm, and one for being a sex offender out of compliance.
