Lamont man sentenced in crystal meth case

A Lamont man was sentenced Monday in federal court for his role in a drug conspiracy.

Raymond Mireles Jr., 45, was sentenced to 15 years and three months in prison for conspiring with co-defendant Marlene Isabel Medina and others to distribute crystal methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Mireles admitted that he dealt in more than 500 grams of crystal meth.
