Man wanted for posing as a talent scout arrested

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) A man long-wanted by Bakersfield police for alleged sex crimes committed while posing as a talent scout has been arrested in Las Vegas.

Anthony Augustus Jefferson was apprehended Feb. 4, according to a news release from Bakersfield police, and is being held on a warrant issued by the Kern County District Attorney's Office charging him with sexual battery, false impersonation, indecent exposure and theft-related charges.
