Many power up for Cyber Monday deals

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) First, shoppers were thankful retailers opened their doors Thanksgiving Day.

Then, it was Black Friday, followed by Small Business Saturday.

After a day of rest on Sunday, shoppers now have a case of the Mondays. Online shoppers will log on to land deals for Cyber Monday.

It's expected to be the busiest online shopping day of the year.

Retailers hope Cyber Monday can make up for a lackluster start to the holiday season.

While a record number of people hit the stores over the four-day Thanksgiving weekend, the National Retail Federation says they spent less for the first time in seven years.

Analysts expect sales of $2 billion.

The National Retail Federation expects more than 131 million Americans will shop online Monday.
