Richland School District superintendent on leave, being investigated
SHAFTER, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
The superintendent of the Richland School District in Shafter has been put on paid administrative leave.
Attorney Grant Herndon said Superintendent Dago Garcia has been put on leave while he is under investigation.
Herndon said allegations were brought against Garcia last month, but he wouldn't give any additional information on the allegations.
Wednesday night, the school board met in a closed session to talk about Garcia's leave, but board members didn't comment in open session.
