Two 18-year-old men arrested after armed robbery
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
Two young men were arrested Monday night for allegedly robbing someone at Belle Terrace and Nimrod Court.
The victim told police that a vehicle stopped, and someone got out and pointed a gun at him.
Soon after that, police conducted a traffic stop and arrested two 18-year-old men suspected of taking part in the robbery. A loaded .22-caliber pistol and "loss" from the robbery were found in the car, police said.
Alonzo Smith and Ray Steward were arrested on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy, firearms violations and participating in a criminal street gang.
