Pedestrian hit, killed by car
UPDATE: The Kern County coroner on Saturday, Jan. 20, identified this pedestrian as 66-year-old Nancy Orlynn Szepfalvi.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) -- A woman is dead after being hit by a car on the 1600 block of Union Avenue.
Officers say it happened about 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
Officials confirm the woman was crossing the roadway outside the crosswalk when she was hit. They have also determined the collision was not caused by drugs, alcohol or speed.
