Two women arrested after a home-invasion robbery and carjacking appeared Friday morning in court.

Savannah Johnson, 24, and Christal Rutter, 34, are two of four suspects in the case. The other two, only described by the Kern County Sheriff's Office as males, remain at large.

A male victim was hit with a baseball bat and suffered major injuries at Dwina Avenue and Manor Street in Oildale, the Sheriff's Office said.

Items from the victim's house were taken, along with his car.

The women were arrested after deputies found them with the stolen car on Wilson Avenue.
