WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- Sherri Pomeroy is the wife of First Baptist Church's pastor - Frank.

She is also the mother of 14-year-old Annabelle, one of the victims of Sunday's mass shooting.

During a press conference on Monday, Pomeroy pleaded with the world, "please don't forget Sutherland Springs."

Pomeroy also remembered the unity her church stood for saying, "our church was not comprised of members, or parishioners. We were very close family. We ate together, we laughed together, we cried together and we worshipped together."

Her husband was emotional during the beginning of the conference as he remembered those who were lost.

Police are still investigating Sunday's mass shooting which killed 26 people. It is now the worst mass shooting to ever take place at a place of worship in modern United States history.

Sunday's shooting is also the worst mass shooting in the history of the state of Texas.
