'Best season in Condors history' ends with playoff loss in Alaska

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) The Bakersfield Condors were eliminated Tuesday night from the ECHL playoffs.

What the organization called the "best season in Condors history" saw the club advance as far as Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against the Alaska Aces.

The Condors also beat Utah and Stockton in earlier rounds of the playoffs.

The latest series resumed for Game 6 Tuesday in Alaska after Games 3, 4 and 5 over the weekend at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield. The Condors took a 2-1 series lead after a Friday night home win but dropped the next three games to the Aces.

Cincinnati beat Greenville in the Eastern Conference Finals and will play Alaska for the Kelly Cup.
