I am excited to be joining the Eyewitness News team, and I am happy to call Kern County my new home.
I was born and raised in Pittsburg, California, a small town 40 miles east of San Francisco. I am a proud San Francisco State University alumna. I earned my degree in Broadcast Journalism and Ethnic Studies.
Before moving to Bakersfield, I worked as a news anchor and multimedia journalist for KLEW-TV, a CBS affiliate station in Northern Idaho. There, I reported on the front lines of the Black Lives Matters protests and countless wildfires that ripped across the Pacific Northwest.
When I’m not reporting, you can find me exploring the city or at a local dog park with my Bichon Frise, Molly.
I believe storytelling has a unique power that can bring communities together. I love being a voice for the community I serve. If you have a story idea or want to say hello, connect with me on Facebook, Twitter or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I would love to hear from you!
