I'm thrilled to join Eyewitness News and the best team in Kern County. Go easy on me though, I'm a long way from home.
Born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey, I'm an East Coast guy at heart. While I'm from the "Garden State," it hasn't been a garden variety journey to California.
In 2010, I started as an anchor, reporter and producer at WBKB in Alpena, Mich. In one of the smallest markets in the country, the running joke was WBKB stood for "We Barely Know Broadcasting." I was ready to get my shot at a long-time goal of being on air working in broadcasting. Alpena will always hold a special place in my heart, because it was a great place to grow and get my start. But I'm excited to say good-bye to snow and hello to Bakersfield.
Before shipping up to Alpena, I attended the University of Miami in Florida. I graduated from "The U" in May of 2010 with majors in broadcast journalism and English literature. While in the 305, I was an anchor for the award-winning "SportsDesk," as well as a reporter for the Emmy-nominated "Newsvision."
I'm proud to be a Miami Hurricane and can't wait for the Canes to contend in the ACC this year. I'm a sports fanatic and it's not just my alma mater. My teams are the New York Giants (Super Bowl champs), New Jersey Devils, New York Yankees (27 Titles and counting) and New York Knicks (we're working on it).
You can watch me at noon and some weeknights on Eyewitness News.
