BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern Dance Alliance has suspended all in-person programs as a response to the growing COVID-19 pandemic, but they want the community know they still care.
KDA's new campaign, "KDA: Cares: COVID-19 Support," is an initiative aimed at supporting Kern's dance and art communities.
KDA says they will play a role in California’s creative economy by providing dance studios with resources to stay open and dance artists with compensation. To learn about their grants and scholarships program, click here.
Additionally, KDA is rolling out a series of pop-up digital dance classes and webinars free to the public throughout the remainder of the COVID-19 quarantine. For details on the dance classes, click here.
