Bakersfield National Cemetery preparing for Memorial Day Ceremony

ARVIN, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Memorial Day weekend is approaching and the Bakersfield National Cemetery is getting ready for its Memorial Day Ceremony.

The Bakersfield National Cemetery is looking for volunteers to help put more than 10,000 flags at gravesites to honor the men and women who served.

Cindy Van Bibber, Director of Bakersfield National Cemetery, joined us on Eyewitness News to share more on the event and how you can get involved.
