Christian band Jars of Clay stopped by Eyewitness News on Friday morning to discuss their Blood:Water mission to end the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa while giving people there access to clean water.

The effort began 15 years ago, and band members say access to clean water provides benefits that ripple throughout the developing world.

As band member Dan Haseltine put it, “The kids get to go to school instead of walking miles to go collect dirty water.”
