BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The unofficial start to summer begins Memorial Day. The movie theaters are all set for excitement with the "live action" take of the Little Mermaid by Walt Disney Studios. VP of Film, Tearlach Hutcheson joined morning anchor Aaron Perlman of KBAK / KBFX Eyewitness News to talk about the summer movies arriving in 2023.
Mr. Hutcheson says June is packed with films such as Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Across The Spider Verse and The Flash. He also says Barbie and Oppenheimer are films to not miss in July.
Studio Movie Grill allows families who have special needs to attend films that are made for them. Their Legacy Special Needs Screenings happen at least twice a month. June has two showtimes: one for Spider-Man Across the Spider Verse and The Little Mermaid.
