BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A hotel fire in east Bakersfield has left 27 people displaced and one injured.

The fire occurred just after 11 p.m. Saturday at the Rankin Hotel on Baker Street.

The Bakersfield Fire Department battled the blaze on the second floor of the three story building.
