3 convicted for Bakersfield home-invasion robbery
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
The Kern County District Attorney's Office announced Monday that three people were convicted last week for a home-invasion robbery.
Jorge Jaimes and Joseph Gonzales, both gang members, broke into a home, held the homeowner at gunpoint and took stereo and video game equipment.
They loaded the stolen items into a car, occupied by the third defendant, Monica Magana.
The prosecutors said a concerned neighbor made note of the license plate number for the defendants and called 911.
Sentencing is set for May.
