Accused gang member arrested for shooting in Fresno

A man was arrested in connection with a Fresno shooting that left one man injured in Fresno.

Fresno PD responded to the shooting on Feb. 13, at a hotel near the 4100 block of North Blackstone Avenue.

Through investigation, 34-year-old Timothy Rooters a known West Fresno gang member according to police shot a 24-year-old, who suffered from non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, detectives located Rooters outside another hotel in north Fresno while sitting in his vehicle.

Rooters has been booked into the Fresno County Jail facing charges of weapons violations and assault with a deadly weapon.
