Bakersfield police release composite image of sexual assault suspect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Police on Friday released a composite image of a sexual assault suspect.

Police said the victim was picked up last Saturday afternoon on Union Avenue and driven to Eagle Ridge Street, which is off Morning Drive and near Thorner Elementary School, where the assault occurred.

The suspect drove a dark sedan. Police released a photo of the car.

The suspect was described as about 35 to 40 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 and about 250 pounds. He had a possible tattoo on his chest or stomach and a scratch or scar on his nose.
