BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A Bakersfield woman, 20-year-old Bailey Schweitzer, was killed in Sunday night’s mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Her father, Bakersfield Speedway owner Scott Schweitzer, confirmed her death to Eyewitness News.
At least 59 people were killed in the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Eyewitness News has confirmed that four others with local connections were killed in the shooting: Kelsey Meadows, Jack Beaton, Victor Link and Melissa Ramirez.
