BC opens Launch Pad in downtown Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield College opened their new 'launch pad' today in downtown Bakersfield.

It's a center designed to provide resources to local entrepreneurs to increase new and growing businesses.

Through partnerships with local businesses, small business owners in Kern County get the support they need

Bakersfield College also hopes to hold workshops starting in the spring.

The workshops have been carefully selected to provide the training necessary to grow a successful business from concept to creation.
