Police have arrested a 14-year-old California boy in connection with an attack on a homeless man.

The attack was caught on video and gained a lot of attention last week via social media.

Police Sgt. Ryan Kroeker said the boy was arrested Friday night on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Kroeker said the boy attends Centennial High School.

There are several videos police are investigating: The one showing someone throwing an object into the head of a homeless man, apparently unprovoked, and a couple more that appear to show teenagers beating up another boy.

Kroeker said the arrest is in connection with the assault on the homeless man, and they're still trying to identify everyone involved in making those videos.
