Former star athlete at Centennial HS found guilty on sexual assault charges
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) —
A Kern County jury found Brandon Nathaniel Joel Robinson guilty on 15 felony counts on Tuesday.
The counts included sexual assault, forcible oral copulation, kidnapping, robbery and criminal threats.
Robinson, 21, assaulted three women between March 3, 2017 and May 11, 2017.
He faces life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 26.
Deputy District Attorney John Allen prosecuted the case.
The May 11 attack took place at Bakersfield College. The other two, on March 3 and April 21, happened in northeast Bakersfield.
Robinson was enrolled at Bakersfield College at the time of the assaults early last year. He’s also a former star athlete at Centennial High School.
