Kern County search-and-rescue members pulled a car out of the Kern River on Saturday that belongs to missing woman Lisa Harvey.

Crews also found a body inside. The Sheriff's Office could not identify the body.

Deputies had initially found the car on Thursday, however they could not pull it out because it was too dark and they did not have the needed manpower.

Harvey had last been seen in April en route to the Kern River Valley.

Crews are waiting to release the identity of the body pending a further investigation by the coroner's office.
