Fire officials say isolated areas of flame and smoke might be visible within the fire line for several days, and people are asked to only call 911 if they see fire near containment lines.
The fire had prompted evacuations in both Kern and Tulare county. The only remaining evacuation order is for Spear Creek Summer Homes in Tulare County, where five cabins and several outbuildings were damaged by the fire.
Evacuation centers in Lake Isabella and Porterville have closed.
