A 67-year-old man is dead after getting hit by a car on Heath Road, near Rosedale Highway Friday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said officers responded to a call on December 2, 2022 at around 4:10 a.m. on Heath Road, south of Clarisse Street about a person hit by a car.

Officials said that a man was walking in the northbound lane of Heath Road when he was hit by a car.

CHP said the man was sitting in the northbound after being hit, nd was hit once again by a Honda.

The department said the driver did not see the man on the roadway.

Officials said the man was pronounced dead on the scene. CHP said all involved people stayed at the scene.
