Congressman Valadao on board train during crash, McCarthy was not

Congressman David Valadao was on the Amtrack train that crashed into a truck in West Virginia on Wednesday morning, but members of his office said he's OK.

Eyewitness News also reached out to House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy's office, which said he was not on board the train during the crash.

The train was carrying members of Congress to a legislative retreat, and McCarthy was driving separately.

The White House said one person died in the accident, and one person was seriously injured.
