A couple in Oildale lost everything in the Willow Fire.

Jessica Crabtree and Elijah Gonzales have been best friends for over a decade. They were engaged to be married in April, but those plans were canceled when the home they just bought was burned to the ground in the fire earlier this week.

The cake, the dress -- it was all canceled. They couldn't afford it anymore.

Until now.

"This is the Lord working, as far as I'm concerned, and it's an amazing thing," said Randy Crabtree, Jessica's dad.

The couple was eating ice cream with their friends when a group of vendors lined up and told them they would be putting on their wedding for free.

Tears streamed down their face as they got their dream wedding back.

"So much goodness and kindness in this world that people are showing us, and there's no reason to feel down," said Jessica.

The couple is now planning for their spring wedding, thanks to the very best of Bakersfield.
