BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Drive-up donation nights kick off this weekend for Operation Warm Winter.

All month long, the Estrada family has been collecting new or gently used clothing, as well as toiletries, for the homeless. The donations will be given to The Mission at Kern County and the Bakersfield Homeless Center.

During drive-up donation nights, 6-9 p.m. Dec. 21 and 22 at 9305 Tahiti Ave., families can enjoy hot cocoa and cookies while dropping off their donations.

The donation drive also features a synchronized light show. This year, the Estradas have also added a video projection to complement the music.

For more information, go to the event’s Facebook page, Lights on Tahiti.
