Former president Clinton closes UFW Convention with speech

    Former president Bill Clinton spoke to an audience of thousands Sunday for the final day of the United Farm Workers Constitutional Convention in Bakersfield.

    Clinton praised the union for its political accomplishments and expressed his longtime support for the union's pursuit of rights for farmworkers.

    Clinton also visited Cesar Chavez High School to campaign for his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
