Four injured in crash on Cecil Avenue and Driver Road

Four people were injured in a crash near Delano Monday afternoon.

Officers with the California Highway Patrol said a black Cadillac was traveling southbound on Driver Road when the driver failed to notice a stop sign and crashed into a green Mustang.

The CHP said the three people inside the Mustang, whose ages range between 16-20 years-old, all suffered injuries described as "moderate to major," and all three were taken to the hospital. Officers said the driver of the Mustang was airlifted to the hospital.

Officers said the driver of the Cadillac was a 29-year-old man and suffered injuries described as "minor" in the crash.

The CHP would like to remind people to be extra cautious while driving this holiday season, as heavy traffic is expected thorough out the area.
