BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) -- Four people in one car were killed Tuesday night in a crash in northwest Bakersfield.

Two of them have been identified via family as 24-year-old Lacey McQuilliams and her longtime boyfriend Mark Hoyt. The others haven't been identified.

The California Highway Patrol said the driver ran a stop sign at Highway 58 and Nord Avenue, crashing into a big rig. The car got stuck underneath the truck.

The driver of the big rig was not hurt, the CHP said.

McQuilliams' family said Hoyt was driving while McQuilliams was a passenger.

A GoFundMe page has been started in McQuilliams' honor.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
